A Long Day

Monday started with breakfast on the plane at sunrise over England. We disembarked to a cloudy , drizzling morning. After baggage claim and customs, I was relieved to see a familiar face waiting to pick me up as I exited the terminal. Dr. Hutchinson navigated the London traffic like a professional cabbie from Cairo. We arrived at Locklmead Vets and after brief introductions, went right to work. Dr. Hutchinson’s first surgery was the TTA that he had scheduled for me to watch. He and his surgical team were efficient and professional through out the procedure and performed the procedure to perfection. I was impressed by time savings and precision afforded by the techniques he used and will incorporate them into our TTA protocol.
After watching a front leg amputation necessitated by bone cancer,we had lunch in the office and discussed business.
More on that in my next blog.
